Poetica Valentine’s Day

Enjoy Poetica’s a-la-carte dining menu with some Valentine’s Day special offers to elevate your dining experience. Choose between house favourites such as the 5+ day dry-aged Swordfish, or the Wagga Wagga MB2 T-bone that has been dry-aged for 15+ days. Dress with sides such as the radicchio with crispy onions and gouda or tomatoes with white onion and mustard vinaigrette.
You must finish with something sweet, and Head Chef Connor Hartley-Simpson has created a Valentine’s dessert for two using techniques he acquired while a Chef in Sweden. Fermented, fresh and dried blueberries are incorporated into a yoghurt base that has three different creamy textures and it is served alongside a classic ice-cream float with a fermented blueberry shrub.
Bar Manager Kieran Lee has concocted the ‘Cupid’s Bow’ cocktail made with Havana Club 3 Rum, lacto fermented blueberries, coconut water, ginger syrup and lime juice. All the ingredients are blended with yoghurt and strained clear before being served over a large chunk of ice for you to enjoy.
